Velocity Home Designs was built on more than just construction it was built on integrity, accountability, and real-life experience.
Founded by Taj Beaufort, a current law enforcement officer, the company was inspired by years of firsthand exposure to contractor fraud cases. Taj investigated numerous situations where homeowners were taken advantage of—left with unfinished projects, poor workmanship, and significant financial loss. Seeing the impact this had on families in the community changed his perspective on the construction industry.
In 2019, Taj began his journey as a real estate investor, combining his passion for real estate with hands-on remodeling experience. As he continued to renovate properties and work closely within the industry, he recognized a major need: homeowners deserved a contractor they could trust.
That realization led him to pursue his General Contractor’s license and establish Velocity Home Designs a company committed to doing things the right way.
